NEBOSH is nationally and internationally recognised when it comes to health and safety.
Whether it’s for managers, supervisors or any other staff with health and safety responsibilities, the programme gives employees everything they need to make their workplace safer.
From identifying and controlling common workplace hazards to effectively managing health and safety in line with the relevant national standards, NEBOSH covers every base. After passing, staff will be able to confidently carry out risk assessments, implement detailed action plans and minimise workplace risks going forward.
NEBOSH General Certificate Assesment
The NEBOSH National General Certificate course is split into two five-day units. The two separately assessed units can be completed over two consecutive or separate five-day weeks.
Unit NG1 is assessed by an Open Book Exam (OBE). The dates are set by NEBOSH and are usually the 1st Wednesday of the month. The OBE is completed online via their learning platform.
Unit NG2 is assessed by an in-depth risk assessment. Delegates have 2 weeks to complete this after the end of the taught sessions.
